A message from Senior Pastor Dennis Belter

A recent survey asked people, "What do you look for when you consider joining a church?" The answers suggested were:
- Good programs for children
- Relevant messages from the Pastor
- Friendly people
One respondent suprised the surveyor when he said, " I'd look for Jesus. If his message wasn't there, I would not bother to return."
What a great answer! At Riverview Lutheran, we know you will find friendly people, relevant messages, and great Christian education opportunities for all ages. Best of all, however, you will find the message of Jesus Christ our Savior. The Bible points to Jesus as the only way of salvation. He won forgiveness by his suffering and death on the cross, and promises life in heaven one day to all who believe in Him. This wonderful truth gives us peace of mind and purpose in life. The Bible puts it this way:
Since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with
God through our Lord Jesus Christ. (Romans 8:1)
Riverview Lutheran Church is a member of a world-side group called the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod. Our emphasis and message is to share the Bible's message about Jesus so that all may have peace through Him.
